All ages are engaged and shocked at the unequal distribution of wealth in the world as they take part in the illustrative world-wide banquet. This social experiment provides a compelling new perspective & exponentially increases a sense of gratitude. The processing discussion includes a skit, small group real life poverty "family scenarios," an explanation and examples of the two feet of social justice, personal sharing, and practical application for social justice teachings.
Students grow in gratitude and appreciation for their access to resources and leave encouraged and challenged to make the most of their privileges by contributing their talents.
